Our Video and Audio over CATx UTP products are designed to give you a low cost, easy, and highly-effective way of video and audio distribution for installations that require long distances, working in tight spaces, or working with limited conduit space. These Video and Audio over CATx products will transmit high resolution video at distances up to 1000 feet on Cat5, 5e, or 6 unshielded twisted pair cable, and support resolutions up to 1920x1440.
For optimum performance we recommend using Zero Skew Cat5 cable. You can also utilize Hall Research Technologies' Skew Corrector for situations where you have used standard long cables (>400 ft) and you are displaying high-resolution image with small font text.
For distances over 1,000 ft take a look at our Video over Fiber Optics solution, which can transmit video up to 21 miles (110,000 ft) !
