The FHD264 is a family of HDMI over IP encoders and decoders that can distribute up to 64 high definition video signals on a 1Gig/s network economically and with ease. All devices support user definable bit rates and can be powered using PoE (Power over Ethernet). Though power supplies are included for customers that may not have PoE on their network. Senders are available as stand-alone box with mounting flanges or as single-gang Decora® wall-plate. Rack mount hardware is also available for housing up to 12 senders in 4U rack space. The FHD264 Senders and Receivers provide a front panel LCD for easy configuration of IP settings, multicast group assignments, user defined device names, and more. Having an LCD readout has been a most sought after feature by users since finding and configuring devices on a LAN is often challenging during installations. With the front panel LCD, users can see and assign such parameters with ease.

Rack Adapter for FHD264

The FHD264-R Receivers can switch and display the video of any of the Senders connected to the LAN. Switching the video to a different Sender can be done several ways: Via front panel LCD display, using the supplied IR remote, using the WebGUI in each device, using the free DVM Windows® manager software, or using WebGUI of the optional CNT-IP-264 system controller. An IR detector cable is provided with each Receiver and each Receiver includes an IR remote for switching among Sender video channels (multi-cast groups). This is ideal for installations such as sports bars where users can easily switch displays to different sources. Furthermore, the same IR detector extends any other IR Remote signal to the respective Sender. For example, if the source connected to the selected Sender is a Cable-TV box, the user can use the IR Remote of the Cable-TV box to control all function such as pause, fast forward etc. from the Receiver location.


FHD264 system applications include: digital signage, meeting rooms, classrooms, bus & metro stations, airports, home theater, and more. All models can be powered via PoE (PD), and come with a power supply in case PoE is not available over the network. Virtual Matrix (many-to-many) Block Diagram
